The apartment is in the centre of the city, close to the Arsenale, in sestiere Castello, which is the oldest part of the city.

Piazza San Marco and La Biennale are only 5 minutes far.
Rialto, the area of the picturesque market, 10 minutes far.
It's understood, on foot! In Venice no cars or wheel vehicles are allowed. People walk along "calli" (narrow roads) and through "campielli" (small squares), or use the funny public transportation: small and big "vaporetto" (public boat) or "motonave" (bigger boat), connecting Lido and the Islands in the Venice lagoon.

How to reach our apartment

The apartment is really close to the boat stop Arsenale of public boats, in the Riva degli Schiavoni. This stop is served by all the main lines:

• linea 1 -  the classic. It makes all stops, from Piazzale Roma to Lido, passing through Grand Canal.

• linee 41 e 42 - these are the lines around the city. They touch several places of cultural and commercial interest, passing through Canale della Giudecca. These lines are "panoramic", since they allow to see the boundary of the whole city from water. They are very convenient, since they connect with Lido, that is Venice's beach, and Murano, the island of glass manufacturers.

• Alilaguna rossa - the line to and from the airport. It's convenient, very fast and panoramic. It connects the Marco Polo international airport with the centre of the city and Murano island. It's a memorable experience for a first encounter with the city from water.

From the boat stop "Arsenale", there is only one minute walk to our apartment. And moreover, with no bridges to climb! This is really a fortune, given that the number of bridges in Venice is over 350.
